Hiding your wrinkles is quite easy with the use of make-up. You only need to follow religiously the tips on applying make-up to conceal wrinkles.
Using Make-Up and Creams to Conceal Wrinkles
If you want to look younger without the need of going under the knife or using whatever supplements to avert skin aging on your face, all you need is a few brush strokes. You can hide your wrinkles by using make-up and anti-aging creams. Here are a few ways on how you can cover wrinkles.
Conceal Wrinkle
- You should use a moisturizer especially made to reduce wrinkles. Apply this moisturizer on your face before using a foundation. Make sure that your moisturizers include the following ingredients: vitamin C, copper, kinetin, peptides, and idebenone.
- There are skin creams especially made to reduce the fine lines on your face. However, you need to get the advice of a dermatologist before purchasing any anti-aging cream.
- Use blushes and eye shadows with minerals or those that contain natural protection from UV rays. Ultraviolet rays can cause wrinkles so it is important that what you are using can protect you from these harmful rays.
- You may also use gels for under the eyes. These gels should lessen the dark circles and puffiness of your eyes.
- Put on a facial foundation or setting cream on your lips before applying any lipstick. This method will aid in preventing the lipstick from scattering on the nearby wrinkles.
- Make sure that the products you use on your face contain nutrients which give nourishment to your skin.
Concealing Eyelid Wrinkles
Although fine lines on your face are easy to conceal, it is quite more challenging to cover-up wrinkles on the eyelids. Of course, using make-up will help but you must know the correct way of applying it to successfully conceal eyelid wrinkles. Here is a step by step instruction to hide your wrinkles on the eyelids.
- First Step. Do not use any bright or glittery colors because these may cause more attention to the eyelids. You do not want people to look at your eyelids especially if they have wrinkles. Shimmery eye shadows put emphasis on eyelid wrinkles. What you have to use are eye shadows with neutral shades like light brown or beige because these shades can hide the eyelid wrinkles. To apply the eye shadow, you should brush a soft coating of the make-up across the lid then blend the color surrounding the bone on the brow.
- Second Step. Your lashes must be emphasized to lessen the focus from the eyelids. With the use of dark mascara and eyelash curler, your lashes will surely pop. Once people notice your dazzling eyelashes they will forget the wrinkles on your eyelids.
- Third Step. Cream eyeliner is what you need to apply on your eyes. Smear the eyeliner on the length of your lash line with the use of a thin eyeliner brush.
To conceal wrinkles is not really as difficult as some people might think. You just need to be armed with the correct products and make-up. Once you have the right things you need, you will surely enjoy hiding those wrinkles and enhancing your beauty at the same time.

I would like to hide some deeper wrinkles
Is there any help for me? I’m almost 70 years of age and people comment on how pretty I am. I can’t understand this because when I look in the mirror, all I see is white hair, green eyes, fair skin and small eyes, and oh yes, let’s not forget the wrinkles! I had my picture taken a couple of years ago. I don’t know what they used, but my wrinkles were much less noticeable, my eyes popped, lips smooth and I walked out feeling like I had lost 20 years. Can anyone give me any suggestions? I’ve used face primers. Maybe I’ve been using the wrong ones.
